Blizzard Entertainment’s 2009 BlizzCon Begins On Aug.21

2009 BlizzCon will begin on August 21, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Completely sold out Blizzard Entertainment’s two-day gaming festival participants will be able to play the latest versions of Blizzard Entertainment games as well as speak with developers in discussion panels, participate in tournaments and contests, and meet with fellow gamers and friends.

2009 BlizzCon celebrates with Blizzard Entertainment games during the convention that includes:

Warcraft

StarCraft and

Diablo

The convention will end with concert featuring the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne and also Blizzard Entertainment’s own Warcraft-themed metal band Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain will be performing and Jay Mohr has returned to act as the master of ceremonies for the community contests taking place on Friday. Blizzard Entertainment will be treating the fans, who are unable to purchase a “virtual ticket” to the show with more than 18 hours of live coverage as well as the exclusive BlizzCon 2009 World of Warcraft in-game pet.

DirecTV will treat their subscribers with the live coverage in high-definition and also live streaming available on internet available to more than 100 countries.
