College Football Fans Can Vote For AT&T All-America Player of the Week

College football fans can participate AT&T All-America Player by selecting the Top College Football Player in the nation each week by sending messaging on their wireless phones. A panel of analysts from ESPN will choose four finalists based on the athletes’ outstanding performance during the previous week.

ESPN’s SportsCenter will announce the four candidates selected each Sunday morning, as well as via text message alerts and on the Web at www.espnallamerica.com, and fans have until 11:59 p.m. ET each Wednesday to participate in the voting. The winner will be announced at halftime of the Thursday ESPN College Football Primetime.

The winner will get free trip to the 2010 BCS National Championship game in Pasadena, Calif.

Four finalists for the AT&T All-America Player of the Year Award will be announced during a one-hour special on ABC in conjunction with the announcement of the Football Writers Association of America All-America team in December. Fans will then get a chance to vote for the AT&T All-America Player of the Year up until the Bowl Championship Series. Voting will end at 11:59 p.m. ET on Jan. 5 and the winner will be announced during the BCS National Championship game on ABC on Jan. 7.
