Comcast Launches Universal Caller ID in Colorado

August 5, 2009

Comcast has launched Universal Caller ID and iPod touch for its subscribers in Colorado. This new technology launch will bring together the company’s digital cable, high-speed Internet and digital voice offerings.

Comcast’s triple play subscribers in Colorado will have option of viewing incoming caller information on their TV and computer screens with the Universal Caller ID service. Comcast iPhone mobile application called ‘app’ allows users to access services such as email, voicemail, movie trailers, TV listings and more.

Comcast has launched Universal Caller ID to Triple Play customers last week, giving them more control and convenience than ever before and can now see who is calling while watching a movie or surfing the Internet and decide to answer the phone or ignore the call without having to rush to the handset.

Scott Binder, Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Colorado Region said “We are excited to launch new products that provide our Colorado Customers with easy access to the services that they use every day while they are in their home or away. New features like Universal Caller ID and our iPhone app are just more ways of providing our customers with more value at no extra cost.”
