Comcast Raising Cable Rates On November 1

Comcast has announced a cable price hike for its basic programming packages, digital, subscriptions for premium movie channels and DVR service from November 1. Comcast has informed many subscribers that the programming package cost will raise by $4-6. Following will be the increase in price:
Digital Premier and Sports Entertainment Package – From 131.25 to $137.90
Standard Service – From $56.40 to $60
DVR Service - From $13.95 to $15.95
The Movie Channel - From $14 to $15
Digital Classic – $80
