DirecTV Launches Local HD Broadcast Networks in the Rockford, Illinois

DirecTV is the leading satellite TV provider with more than 130 high-definition channels. Now, DirecTV is also leading in delivering local HD broadcast channels adding broadcast networks in many cities.

The satcaster has now added local HD programming to the subscribers in the Rockford, Illinois area. Following are the new local HD broadcast networks are available in HD:

WTVO/ABC

WREX/NBC and

WQRF/FOX

The satcaster is now offering local HD broadcast channels in 115 cities, which represents more than 87 percent of U.S. TV households.
