DirecTV subscribers in Tallahassee, Florida are delivered with the local programming in high-definition from Dec.10. The satcaster has been launching local programming and also PBS stations in high-definition. Tallahassee subscribers are delivered with following channels in HD :
WCTV/CBS
WTWC/NBC and
WTLH/FOX
DirecTV claims that it offers local HD channels in 116 cities. Subscribers need to have H20 or H21 HD receiver or an HR20 or HR21 DIRECTV Plus HD DVR and a Ka/Ku band dish to receive the programming in HD.
