DirecTV Launches Local HD Programming in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota

DirecTV’s Sioux Falls subscribers in South Dakota market now receives local high-definition channels from Thursday, Nov. 6, bringing the satcasters local HD broadcast to 109 cities. DirecTV is planning to provide local high-definition channels in more than 121 cities, representing approximately 88 percent of U.S. TV households. Following are the local HD broadcast channels available in Sioux Falls market:

KELO/CBS

KDLT/NBC and

KSFY/ABC

DirecTV subscribers must have an HR20 or HR21 DIRECTV Plus HD DVR or an H20 or H21 HD receiver and a Ka/Ku band dish to receive the local high-definition channels.
