DISH Network launches local HD channels in Beaumont – Port Arthur, Texas

DISH Network has launched local high-definition channels in Beaumont – Port Arthur, Texas. With the launch of local HD channels, DISH Network now offers local channels in 66 markets reaching more than 69 percent of U.S. TV households. DISH Network is gearing up with launch of many new national HD channels and local HD channels.Dish Network will be the first satellite TV provider to reach 100 HD channels on August 1, as they are planning to launch 17 HD channels. DISH Network last week has launched new satellite ‘EchoStar XI’ to go for HD expansion.
