Dish Network Launches Local High-Definition Channels in Eight Markets

Dish Network follows DirecTV in all aspect of expansion programs, DirecTV now moved from local HD programming to offer local PBS in HD. Dish Network is starting its local high-definition programming expansion. Dish Network has announced the launch of local HD stations in eight markets. Following are the cities where Dish now offers local HD.

Charleston, South Carolina – WSAZ, NBC affiliate

Greenville, North Carolina – WITN, NBC affiliate

Lansing, Michigan – WILX, NBC affiliate

Lexington, Kentucky – CBS affiliate

Lincoln, Nebraska – KOLN, CBS affiliate

Madison, Wisconsin – WMTV, NBC affiliate

Omaha, Nebraska – WOWT, NBC affiliate and

Waco, Texas – KWTX, CBS affiliate
