GolTV To Broadcast 2009 South American CONMEBOL Youth Championships

GolTV has acquired the exclusive broadcast rights to bring U-20, and U-17, 2009 Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol (CONMEBOL) in The U.S. Top two teams from South American Youth Championships will qualify for the 2009 FIFA U-20 and U-17 World Cups and will represent South America. GolTV will broadcast the 24th Annual “Juventud de America” South American U-20 Youth Championship in January 2009. GolTV will bring 13th Annual South American U-17 Youth Championships to Chile in March 2009.

“The CONMEBOL youth championships offer a sneak peek into the future of professional soccer. Many of the world’s best South American superstar players were once standouts on a national youth team in this tournament,” said Enzo Francescoli, founder and CEO of GolTV. “In addition to match coverage, we will take viewers inside the tournaments with in-depth interviews and original programs.”
