The largest video sharing website in China, ku6.com established by Mr. Li Sanyou has officially released its report on its Olympic video data. ku6.com has done phenominally well during the Olympic Games as the website received 250 million page views per day and the average number of independent visitors is
23.9 million per day. The Olympic channel have reached a high of 180.9 million where as ku6.com’s closing ceremony recorded 320 million on the day and also had three high page views all of which exceeded 300 million per day.
This huge traffic is due to relentless effort and various marketing measures by the Chinese website and also had cooperation with all kinds of client-end software such as Baidu and promotion through advertising and public relations companies after Ku6 received Olympic VOD rights. ku6 has overtaken its rival, tudou.com, according to Alexa data. This success is due to completeness, speediness and high resolutions.
