Lifetime Television has ordered for Army Wives, highly rated drama series among Women for the fourth season. The new season will start in 2010 and will run for 18 weeks on Sundays. The second season was a grand success watched by 80 million total viewers and the final on Sunday, Nov.2, 2008 was Lifetime’s highest-rated and most watched original drama telecast ever among Adults 18-34.
JoAnn Alfano, Executive Vice President, Lifetime Networks said “This early pick-up – even prior to the Season 3 premiere – is a true testament to our commitment and support of this great show, with Jeff Melvoin taking the reins as the Executive Producer of Season 3, we are confident that the best episodes are yet to come when the series returns this summer.”
