Time Warner cable has launched TV One targeting African Americans in USA. The cable operator has launched the new network to its subscribers in Central New York on Mar.16 on its Digital Cable lineup on channel 160. TV One started delivering hit movies, programming celebrating African American culture and popular sitcoms such as Sanford and Son and The Jeffersons.
John Keib, Time Warner’s president of residential services in the Northeast region said “We look for quality programming that appeals to our customers and fulfills our desire to offer the widest variety of viewpoints and content, TV One has shown through its tremendous growth and increasing viewer ship that it fills a need in our local lineup.”
