Time Warner Launching Buffalo News Channel in 2009

Time Warner Cable has announced that they are coming out with a 24 hour new channel. The cable operator’s news channel will cover news in the Buffalo area. Time Warner already has 10 news channels six operated in New York State and one each in Albany, Binghamton, Rochester and Syracuse.

This news channel will be launched in the first quarter of next year and will present subscribers in Buffalo with Sports, weather and local news. This channel only be available to Time Warner Cable subscribers.

The cable operator also offers local news in Austin, Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C.
