Verizon’s FiOS TV is to carry Hallmark Movie Channel in standard definition. A carriage deal has been signed between Verizon Communications and Crown Media Holdings (owner and operator of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel). Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel in high-definition is available to Verizon’s FiOS TV subscribers.
Janice Arouh, Executive Vice President, Network Distribution & Service, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel said “The response from our distribution partners over the past year to launch Hallmark Movie Channel has been overwhelming. The Channel – available in both standard and high definition – is distinctive because it offers a quality viewing experience for the whole family, classic theatrical films, Hallmark Hall of Fame presentations and the best of Hallmark Channel original movies.”
