World Fishing Network Opens Denver Production Facility To Cover Fishing in Rocky Mountains

August 28, 2009

World Fishing Network (WFN) is planning to expand its network programming through media partnerships, consumer promotions and the sponsorship of local fishing events. WFN is opening a production office in Denver partnering with Colorado Trout Unlimited (CTU) to cover fishing in the Rocky Mountains.

WFN also will associate with Cazador Media of Denver and will serve as the network’s first regional production office to expand its coverage of fishing in the Rocky Mountains. WFN Colorado has its fingers on the pulse of fishing in the Rockies to facilitate local and regional coverage of many Colorado-based fishing activities and conservation issues. The regional bureau is the first of several to be opened by WFN.

Mark Rubinstein, President, WFN said, “The WFN Colorado bureau and these partnerships serve the specific needs of passionate anglers throughout Colorado. Fly fishing in the Colorado River is a unique experience and quite different from bass fishing in Texas or fishing for walleye in Michigan. As the only cable network dedicated 24/7 to fishing, it is important for our programming to reflect these differences. These relationships ensure that we have unmatched access to the best news and fish tales in the Rockies.”
